'in Response To My First Poem'

An Offering

I offer you a glance
And our eyes instantly lock.
An unexpected shiver runs through me
And time stands still on the clock.
 
I offer you my hand
And you take it warmly into yours.
No words have to be spoken
Yet we have opened so many doors.
 
I offer you a dance
And our bodies meld together.
We are both in awe and astonished,
Both wanting this to last forever.

I offer you a kiss
Which makes us quiver in delight.
The passion and the pleasure
Intensifies through the night.

I offer you my heart
and I trust that you won't break.
To fall in glorious love
is a risk we yearn to take.

I see you looking at me
My eyes are riveted on yours
I see you tremble from the cold
I beckon you to come in from outdoors

I take your delicate hand
It's cold from the chilly night
Your touch speaks volumes
Your hand in mine feels so right

I guide you to the dance floor
Like magnets we sweetly entwine
Impressed and full of wonderment 
I wish then that you'll be eternally mine

I taste your heavenly lips
So stimulating I shudder with bliss
Exquisite and heavily intoxicating 
I want to drown is this delectable abyss

I see love radiating from you
Positive, confidant and sincere
This journey is going to be amazing
You are my future that is absolutely clear

Duke Beaufort October 12, 2015 at 8:40 AM Cecilia, it is still passion but aged like a fine wine. It's much better than that, but there are not words to describe it easily. Coming in from the cold makes me wonder a bit. Also, I am thinking it is the same person, but the way this is written there is a slight doubt--all in my own mind. So this is tickling me, and that is something wonderful.
