In Regards To the Universe

'Tis a blessing and a curse
to wear the gavel and the gown,
and run the bad guys out of town.
But in regards to the universe
and every soul placed on the scale -
I am glad our justice fails,
and all but a few of us
(for better or worse)
receives not what we
most assuredly deserve.



Inspired by the writings of Demetrios Trifiatis.

P.S. I was going to share to something different this morning, but after stopping by Demetrios' page last night I got inspired with something unexepected.

You're right about justice being the definition of subjective. Perhaps that's why there are so many that thing it's corrupt (while at the same time just) ... a bit of a paradox if you think about it too long!
