Oh, how I adore the versatile number four. Four sides to spare? Make a little square. Still, the question begs, just how many legs best furnishes a cat, a dog or...rat? Any bird that sings always counts his wings, so, he can say, "I have four today". Do not be glum and count your thumb. You have, fingers, four. Now, celebrate once more!

That is right about not counting your thumb as a finger, but I would also argue to no count your pinky either, but that would have messed up your message. Oh well, this was a cute read and as such congrats on your win in my contest.

Thanks, Miranda, and you make a good point! Of course, you know I would find a way to make the answer come to four - lol
