In One Wasted Breath

if you can ever be right about anything in your life let it be when you said there
were others. others out there for me.

may you keep in mind its bring me no comfort that those who have known me
best have left me.

showing me only that these hands are shaking. these fingers are weak. and my
grip has proved as useless as these words...

that leak from the emotions i dont know how to keep.

may i break again and crawl back to the hole where i was buried alive. pushing
away memories of something that felt so good i dont dare to remember it.

but let me keep those words. let me have those and only those. if i can hold onto
anything, let it be them.
