A Triolet to Make My Day Poetry Contest

~Placed Second~

In My Dream- Triolet

In folds of night as wave he came
Entranced was I by his blue eyes
In a dream, came to see his dame
In folds of night as wave he came
Gently calling me by my name
My spirits to heaven’s did rise
In folds of night as wave he came
Entranced was I by his blue eyes

Dearest Valsa, what a beautiful romantic reverie! There is such a sense of softness - of being cherished - moments of love coming in waves! Congratulations on your win, dear friend. Blessings!

Nicely done, Valsa. I didn't get too many romantic ones so I appreciate this one's romantic tone. Congrats in my contest

So lyrical and catchy sweet valsa, Its like a chorus of a song, so musical! I love the refrain and also the rhymes and cadence. “My spirits to heaven’s did rise” i felt extreme euphoria there! Beautifully expressed and delivered ~ best wishes. Sending you light always
