Notes About The Poem

In Love With You

When I first saw you were so graceful and lean,
I must confess those tight jeans made me scream.

But when I looked into your eyes as you looked back at me,
There was something within those deep blues that set me free.

Maybe it was the way you talked to me with that smile,
It would make my heart dance and sing for a while.

When we eventually found love, you brought color into my life.
You are my best friend who eventually became my wife.

Living life with you has left a song in my heart.
I love all of you, for you are my best part.

Tight jeans, blue eyes, and a great smile, you paint a wonderful picture Edward, overwhelming us mere mortal men, your poem has simplistic qualities, but relays a potent message of love, all the best for contest, cheers David
