In Love With the One Who Always Makes Me Laugh
My favorite clown's sleeping next to me.
He came to my life just in time I think.
Meeting him really set me free.
Melted my heart with that first silly wink!
We both knew life could bring sorrow.
Of painful memories we had our share.
Now we're looking toward tomorrow.
About the past there is no care.
Enjoying each day for what it may bring.
Filling our days with laughter and love.
This man always makes my heart sing.
He must be sent from up above.
We share our world of wonder together.
Exploring everything out there to see.
He shields me from the stormy weather.
And in the end lets me be me.
Finding him was my luckiest day.
Belly laughs are better than tears!
With him I'm traveling the right way.
We'll skip into our twilight years.
