In Land of Cockaigne
Seductively she says ~ there’s a place I know
Unspoiled by misery of dreaded human woe
Where perfumed winds of amour gently blow
As embers of doting night in moonlight glow
When blossoms of romance fantasies unfold
Titillating beat of yearnings passions behold.
Streets we traverse are paved in glittering gold
With matching motifs on homes ornately bold
Bestowing upon citizens gift of esoteric solace
Resembling kingdom utopian, idyllic and flawless
Exempt from mortal worries, luxuriating carefree
On paradisiacal beaches of turquoise blue sea.
On wings of her charm we roam a magical day
As signs of peace and prosperity lead the way
Where mythical gems glimmer cozy life of leisure
And sensual desires inflame eternal pleasure
Pulsing my heartbeats in rhythms of her glee
Strumming whispers of love she crooned to me.
When mystical fairy scintillates garden of bliss
The land of Cockaigne cheers for a starlit kiss
As two souls cuddle lovingly in heavenly zeal
Ablaze in ecstasy enchanting euphoric appeal
In zest of yellow primrose, scent of sacred rose--
Granting my dreams then discreetly she goes.
