In Honor of You
Love in those Spring afternoons!
Your eyes I still see.
Though you are dead, and live in God's harmony,
So close now, to the moon,
my destiny!
I...sitting on your lap, in the
dark, blue shantung chair.
Introducing you to ee Cummings love poetry.
Those moments now like a
dazzling Middle Eastern mystery.
And deep kisses, blessed by the Lake Michigan's fresh air!
Spring, with all it's blooms and scented flowers,
Still each year, so hushed!
The leaves, sing to me of the memory of us.
Under the ground, mon amour in your lonely,
Springtime tomb..
