In Denial

O for a world at peace;
Heat of its rage, past.
We're nigh. Its the dusking hour.
Shadowing prey's last.

Skipping o'er battlefield facts
Unquenched in faces
Look! How tame in the moonlight
Roaring's yawned traces.
