In a Moment of Weakness
In a moment of weakness I was ready to be chipped.
I thought I might as well have the operation,
And get it over with.
No more worries about losing my phone,
No more hunting through reams of paper,
To find that all important receipt.
No need to feel for my wallet,
Or waiting on replacement cards.
No more coming home through back streets,
Because I left my Drivers Licence home.
Even better,
No more thoughts of where is my Birth certificate,
When a certified copy required.
Fortunately the thought of,
Being knocked off my perch early,
Keeps me from going down that road.
