Improving on Perfection

If Mrs. Paul's™ got together with Planters™
To create a new breakfast treat
That everyone, kids and adults alike,
Would be eager and happy to eat,
It would be quite spectacular,
To use the vernacular,
One no other product could beat.
They'd tout their new filling
As natural and thrilling,
Organic and super delish.
But who would be thrilled
With a pastry puff filled
With peanut butter…and jellyfish?

As someone who attempts to improve her diet, this poem spoke to me. Taste or health is the dilemma. I enjoyed this light verse.

Thank you, Hilda, and good luck with that. I'd advise that you not ask Mrs. Paul's or Planters for their input.

Ilene, thank you. I seem to recall having a bit of a "gag reflex" when I wrote those lines.
