Imprisoned For Faith

(This is a poem dedicated to the collective group of Jehovah's Witnesses who have been imprisoned simply for their faithful beliefs and their obedience to Jesus Christ and to Jehovah God.)

Another day behind these bars—
if we could just imagine!
How trialsome these days can be
is difficult to fathom.

Earnestly for your strength, we pray,
inspired by your endurance.
Jehovah will deliver you—
this is his dear assurance.

We pray, too, for your families,
for they are ever waiting
so urgently for your release,
which always seems belated.

Despite these facts, we also know
Jehovah you are serving.
Arriving soon are better days
by faith you are deserving.

So please continue, faithful friends;
Your names are still recorded.
Your faith and great integrity
worldwide has been reported.

There is a joyful future hope;
You brothers can afford it,
for friends enduring to the end
are soon to be rewarded!

Hey AP I like your write. Every night we pray for our brothers in prison especially in Eritrea 25 years and still no trial. I wrote a poem about them a while back called Injustice has a name you maybe would like it.

Thank you so much! My heart and prayers also go out to our brothers imprisoned in Eritrea. I recall a report of a few of them dying in prison not too long ago, also unjustly imprisoned. I can't wait until justice is carried out Jehovah's way.
