Impotent Moon
Hell awaits the night of the eclipse
Til the moon betrays the tides
It tells the waves to rise and awake
But tonight, the moon simply hides
The stars watch the flames in torment
As the smoke impedes their view
The sea stays silent and helpless
For the moon tells it not what to do
Blinded by darkness, no saviour is found
For the hero knows not what to save
Impotent, the moon thinks all is well
By faith, it commands not the waves
The lava is tirelessly reaching out
Trying to give new land its birth
But to bring forth its life, death must be found
As hell's fury is unleashed on earth
As the ocean sits in quiet frustration
The Heaven's cannot make a sound
The earth begs the sea for mercy
But no solace will ever be found
The moon that's been locked in darkness
Cries, as it watches earth's fate
For the eclipse is releasing its blindfold
But the hero has entered too late
