Feelings surface, carried by an emotional tide,
and we feel love wash over us
refreshing as a spring rain
with its promise of renewal.
Trust erases the scars we wear as mementos,
allowing us to put aside past pain
and overcome inhibitions.
As a collaboration of heart and soul
breathes life into our fantasy dreams,
we whimsically chase rainbows and butterflies.
And with the allure of feeling special,
love attaches itself to our reality.
When sensuous feelings get indulged,
a sweet taste lingers upon our lips.
While the beauty of the moment
generates enough heat to fuse two hearts into one.
Tethered to feelings of euphoria,
the bonds of love are eternal
and impossible to sever.
