Impossible
If only you knew the way I look at you when you have your back to me.
My eyes follow you across the room because I love you endlessly.

If only you knew the way I catch my breath, whenever you walk down the stairs.
My heart skips a beat with every step that you take, because I’m wishing you knew how I cared.
If only you knew the way my senses fail when I hear the sound of your voice nearby.
My mind shuts itself down and all function is gone, because every emotion runs high.

If only you knew how every part of my being longs to be wherever you are.
My body and soul ache day and night, because I know we’ll be forever apart.
