It's so easy to play the blame game to be unrealistically expectant to want perfection It's so easy It's easy to want you to mold yourself into my concept of the ideal man to fill in all the cracks of what's broken in me it's so easy and yet how often have I tried heart and soul and mind to be what you need how often have I failed to hold you together and make you complete that's not so easy that's not so easy for me to realize to see I hope I finally learn perfection doesn't exist there is no perfect spouse there is no perfect love because we are not perfect human beings we are fallible only God is infallible only His love is unconditional we are imperfect beings in an imperfect world loving imperfectly and yet, there is so much beauty in the imperfection of you and me! No love is perfect my little Desert Orchid, but there are odd times it comes close. Love the message in this write, but sometimes it's better not to try too hard. Take care, Richard

There is nothing wrong with striving for perfection, even though we know that perfection is divine. It's in the knowledge that we want the best that we raise 'giving' to a higher level. Hugs // paul

This is so moving, once we allow ourselves an the ones we love to just be we experience an indefinable freedom of spirit. We come to know that they and us are more than enough.

Thanks, Tim. I'm not always that easy to get along with. My parents spoiled me, being the youngest and a GIRL and all. It doesn't help that I'm a hopeless romantic. I think hubby has done well in surviving! :) Thanks for the post. Hope all is well. I haven't been around much. I have a blog up about it, if you care to read. Hugs
