Impasse

When chips are down
With choice of bets,
Let cheer purge frowns
In clear mindset.

When all seems lost
In anxious feel,
Let poise bear cost
In sure goodwill.

When times look bad
With messy burns,
Let moments sad
Fling good returns.

When crash brings pain
To life's affairs,
Let charm bear strain
To cheer the air.

When pain bleeds wit
In reverse jest,
Let heart bear hits
And wait on zest.

When joy seems rare
In surge of woes,
Let go of cares
To find good stores.

When days and night
Turn into Hell,
Let focus sight
A wealthy spell.

When you can't start
To feel the flow,
Let silent heart
Show what you know.
