Impaled Pen Or Sword

I often hear a pen is mightier than a sword, but is it? I often hear a pen can write hurting words, but did it? I often hear a sword is big, heavy and sharp, but was it? I often hear one was impaled, but was it by the pen or the sword?

very thought provoking...the power of words can cut deeper then the sword because they can cut the very core of the soul....nice poem :) hugs

So true. Thank You, for your note. I know the story of the pen and sword. I just wrote a Free E-Book that takes a very different look at the pen and sword. Maybe the pen has been getting a bad rap. With a little luck, I will have it out this week.

The pen may have decreed it on paper...judge knows...but in the end the sword impaled it...the pen may be a guilty party to the written laws... leaning towards the pen...
