Impaled Pen Or Sword

I often hear a pen is mightier than a sword,                                                                                           but is it?                                                                                                                                                       I often hear a pen can write hurting words,                                                                                            but did it?                                                                                                                                                    I often hear a sword is big, heavy and sharp,                                                                                          but was it?                                                                                                                                                   I often hear one was impaled,                                                                                                                         but was it by the pen or the sword?
