Susan, you write with such intelligence and heart. A powerful combination for a poet to have. Sol-mate is so creative, and hyphenating birthday to match it as a parallel thought. The play on words is brilliant and interesting. "lare flies flamingo dawning sky" Quite an interesting visual there. I like the accompanying photo of the colorful painting you chose as well. Always, Laura
