Immortal

He was named Joseph Steven McBride
He never had any fun it can’t be denied.
His life was all glum
Of joy he had none.
Since he never lived, he still hasn’t died.

Thank you, Lindsay. I heard something very much like this many years ago from an insurance agent. His tag line was "Insurance was denied, because he never lived, he could't have died." I haven't heard or read it since, and the insurance agent is deceased. Still, maybe I shouldn't have used it without some kind of quasi-attribution.
