Imminent Rain

The day was hot and muggy. Heat ... smothering. Glad to be indoors in an air-conditioned work place. Sapphire blue sky overhead, beautiful , to the stolen glimpses. Crossing the parking lot en masse at days end. The sky no longer bright. Now almost a greyish-blue haze. Storm clouds are gathering in the distance. Heading inland. The air tingling with moisture. In this heat when the rain comes it will be with thunder ... and lightning. It will make an entrance not to be ignored

Not to be ignored indeed! ...especially in Florida!! Very atmospheric, with marvelous imagery. Best wishes, Keith

I was at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia watching the Phillies play. A very wicked storm developed with wind gusts and rain coming down in sheets. It lasted about a half hour. The game was delayed, but resumed a little more than an hour later. Those summer storms can be both sudden and bad.

a day at work by sounds of things, cold as charity down here, sly watching brings an azure sky, here rain drizzle springs, windy, thunder is hybernating, till spring
