Imagine This

Next Wednesday
every human being living on planet Earth
wakes up and decides to be happy?
People living in every time zone
in every country opened their eyes,
took a deep breath, and said,
“I’m in control of my own happiness!”

People from all walks of life
started to smile and laugh at the weather.
The sick and the elderly became happy,
and the farm workers and office workers became happy,
and the soldiers and policeman became happy,
and the politicians and war lords became happy,
and the cab drivers and bus drivers became happy,
and the suffering poor from around the world became happy,
and all the refugees fleeing Syria became happy.

I wonder what would actually happen if all of humanity
suddenly became happy on the same day at the same moment in time?

The words are simplicity themselves, but in context they speak volumes on the mind frame, hopes, admissions and views of the author. Very well written. Emile. #7
