Imagine

A bright golden glow
A splash of yellow sun
New and fresh
Begin again
A flickering flame
Bursting up over the edge
 Small at first
Then growing strong
Constant and enduring
The faintest pulse
A whispered promise
Echoing through time
A reminder of what's mine
The softest touch
A gentle breeze
Soft chimes that ring
Singing river that flows
A rustle of leaves
A place that's home
That's where I want to be
So I close my eyes
And the noise begins to fade
Replaced with soft melodies
That sing of peace
My own world
Safe and sound
Where I can be me
