Imagine
I’m looking through
Half open eyes,
In a sense I’m welcoming
The new day,
The sun is peering
through my window…
Opening the curtains
I have to shield my eyes
From the alluring rays of the sun…
I can hear the birds singing
Oh what a sweet melody
‘Cause it makes me smile…
It sounds like the wind
Is whispering sweet nothings
To the trees
I can see them dancing…
How I wish I could dance like that…
How I wish I could remember the tune…
It’s all happening in unison
They all have a role to play
In making this an awesome day…
If only we as humans
Could take a leaf out of nature’s book…
Just imagine the possibilities.
Just imagine what an awesome world this would be…
