Imagine
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” – Genesis 6:5, KJV.
We mortals are endowed
with the ability to IMAGINE
both good and evil.
Notwithstanding, you and I
were made for more.
Given power to IMAGINE;
To do good and great things;
To go places;
To touch lives.
It's imperative that we make the best of the journey
as we begin the long quest toward our destiny. One
must learn to navigate whatever waters appear.
Troubled waters are certain with stormy winds,
sometimes more forceful than we would IMAGINE.
Notwithstanding, imagination will often be our
driving force, 'our wheel in the middle of the wheel',
that gets us to our destiny.
To IMAGINE is to believe, to think, to expect.
When the desired reality is light years away,
visualize, have faith, and chose God to be the
center and the root of what we want most in life.
Things unplanned and unimaginable circumstances
will tirelessly seek to inundate our pathway,
and blind our vision of the goals we seek.
We will question our very own hearts and soul.
Doubts and questions will invade our chosen space,
causing us to second-guess our college of choice,
our chosen career, creating fear that floods our
ability to see, focus, IMAGINE, and seek
God's guidance.
Nevertheless, we must not cease to pursue,
to IMAGINE, to wrap our hearts around
the object of our affection. History says
that 'we cannot'. 'Imagination says we can'.
The closer we get to our destiny, we will
watch it unfold with a smile that dries the tears
of the past. We will look back and notice
the pattern that we could not clearly see in
those energetic and trailblazing years.
