Imagine

You make me think and imagine candles. Of beach fires and fireflies, Thunderstorms and lightning dancing all over the sky. Rain pattering on cliffs nearby, Creating somnolent echoes of days gone by. You make me smile, you tell me- "wet and slippery goes on inside." Isn't it marvelous how contradictory we can be; Something about you, something deep inside. A flame inside you, something so alive. something that flickers, I see it in your eyes. Paul Lake
