Imagination
To some, it’s a waste of time,
And, to others, a sheer delight
To see creation happening
In the imagination of my mind.
I see the universe springing to life,
Filled with celestial angels glowing with pride.
I see a crescent moon hanging in the sky
Above a tree in paradise,
And peacefulness in the village streets.
It was beautiful, and I couldn’t reveal
My emotions with words on paper in rhyme.
And so, I got out my canvas and easel
And wrote them down in paint.
From a painter’s imagination of the mind.
