Imagination

Imagination

Child on the ladder that makes you so tall trying so hard to reach the moon
Will you catch that crescent shape tonight or you just counting the stars
Your nightly inspection that all is okay and none have been lost
So now you have found that all is right, maybe it time for you to sleep tight
To allow that imagination to roam all night in the dreams of your desire
Of swinging on the moon so bright to your delight in that bright moonlight
Within the glow and the safe twinkle of the deep dark night

Congratulations on your win and thank you , Mary, for entering my contest. Your poem is one that ran over the 8 lines instruction... On my end of the contest page the last line carried over to making it 10 lines. Come and visit my Blog.. Hugs Eve
