I've done it all and some twice
My piece of life was a big slice
I've been in deep over my head
I recall a name Jesus I said
 
I'm writing for you Lord
I'm writing for you
To tell the world
Of all you do
I'm writing for you Lord
I'm writing for you
  
Ego and pride a human trait
Ready fist and a mind of hate
His love for all will change a mind
Faith and hope through Jesus find
  
I'm writing for you Lord
