Notes About The Poem

Truth, however clever, can never be made a lie. True love however crucified, can never change to hate. I’m still love, because I am loved, and I forgive because Christ lives in me.

I'M Still Love

I’M STILL LOVE

Who I am it’s written in glory,
Though crucified by name,
Dreams of now the given story,
I'm still love.

Hung between the two deserving,
Bearing the lies and naked shame,
Though innocent, their sentence I am serving,
I'm still love.

Though I gave my life and loved them,
Heart held hostage took the blame,
Released for love, and made to leave them,
I’m still love

Though crucified, and buried alive,
By His power and love, I rose again,
Resurrected to life, my life revived,
I'm still love.

In hands, heart, and feet, I bear the scars,
heaven is my witness just the same,
You may closed up our chapter,
My tears, for your laughter,
Heaven knows my name,
I'm still love.
