I'M Steel Hard

I am not strong, Nay, I am fragile
I am shining amongst the sunlight
And rolling in the strongest Gale

Don't wonder who I am, alas,
On the beach, I am standing as such
Facing the rises and sets of the sun
And going up and down with the tides

I am the sands, the broken stones
Which have once been the mountains, afar
Though smashed bit by bit, I am steel hard

This piece has been submitted to the anthology entitled Radiant Verses for inclusion, which was recently published by poetrysoup, but failed

This is an interesting perspective that you share. We do not often think about the beginning of things. Mountains reduced to grains of sand. If hit by lightning it will change to glass. Maybe your title can be Glass Mountain.
