Laxman Rao Poet Sonnet

I'M Not a Complete Poet

Everything you pen- is not a poem
And that everyone who pens is not a poet, 
I know that I do pen poems
But I don't know if I'm a poet.
The moon is the same; yet it varies from
Everyone's perspective everyday
You happen to see, so is the mind that varies
To the every mood that pass by.
The circumference is so vast but the spark 
Of starting point is nowhere to be seen.
The day I complete my expedition
I would self declare myself a poet, 
But then, that doesn't mean; I'm not a poet
It's just that- I'm not a complete poet.

Laxman Rao April 26, 2016 at 6:23 AM Absolutely true as well,, as true could be..but not so true as you said...a poet is a wingless bird...unless it doesn't travel the entire world and the poet his expedition of life,,,hes not a complete poet, Thats what I mean. As i said in one of my verse. Poems are of different flavors for different mindsets As different as poets- who are as different recipes… Regards Rao
