I'M Lost
Reason has left me.
My intelligence has been flamed but extinguished all in one kiss.
Multiple thoughts circle in my mind centered around nothingness.
An intensity I fall into as I stare back into your eyes speeds my pulse.
When apart I long for your deep soothing voice to flow over me as if the finest silk.
I long for your touch, the passion felt passed from flesh to flesh.
I long for the easy release of your smile,
Obvious to all the joy you feel when with me.
When together all I need are silences.
Blessed sweet silences, losing all stress, all insecurities,
All mayhem into the buzz around us.
Love at first sight maybe a myth.
To be chalked up with urban legend.
But realizations of all I am feeling..
Realizations of all I'm doing.
To allow myself to become lost,
Enraptured into oneself, bliss.
Common sense now fleeing my existence as well it seems.
But my nonchalance at it all not discouraging or dreaded.
My acceptance of this and more importantly of you is reassuring.
I may be lost in my thoughts, but with you beside me,
I know I am not alone in this, my newest journey.
