I'M Happy

I’m Happy

woke up today
felt blissfully alive
grinned from ear to ear
looked like a fool
but I don’t care…
I’m very happy!

picked ruby red roses
from my garden
put them in a vase
kissed their silky petals
they kissed me right back…
I’m crazy and happy!

inhaled fresh mountain air
filled my lungs with sweet oxygen
so pure and invigorating
fell in love with golden sunshine 
stretched and purred…
I’m deliriously happy!

danced in cool, silvery rain
soaked from head to toes
felt gloriously wild and free
took off all my clothes
continued dancing…
I’m so happy - I cried!
