Notes About The Poem

I wish I was this brave!

I'M Dyeing

If truth be told, I’m getting old my hair is streaked with grey I cannot lie, I use hair dye To banish the greys away 9/15/18

My youngest daughter died her hair blue (she is naturally a dark brunette) a couple of years ago. It turned out a silvery blue color that actually looked quite nice. Of course she didn't like it.

Hi Jan, The rainbow colours are too much but the silver blonde and light pink is awesome! A wise man once told me that from the day we are born, we are one day closer to death. Nothing is surer than that! Like your short poem a lot Jan. xoxo Jennifer

Jan: An old friend often said of such things: If the barn needs painting, paint it. :o) Always fun to read your stuff. Keep them coming. oldbuck

Great poem my friend. I like my rainbows in the sky after a gentle rain. I have seen dyed hair in a similar fashion as shown in the pic , when the beautiful young lady wearing it, did pull it off. Which is quite a rare thing, IMHO..

Do you really want clown-colored hair? I consider you very brave. My hair and I both relate to this cute write. All the best ... CayCay

A cute poem which is even more highlighted by its simplicity. Dyed hair is a necessity for some, but just a way of life for others. Hugs // paul

I would go for a wig like this but too hard to keep up something like this Jan. Wish I could say I need not color my hair, but I can't! I don't have a pretty grey like brunettes do. Hope your son is safe from the storm. Hugs, Connie : )

Aha! But do you buy burgandy dye? Because that is truly the dye to die for, Jan.

Love the picture, and the poem made me grin, I stopped coloring my hair, mostly because it made my bathroom too messy!
