I'M CRAZY I KNOW

I’m crazy, I know—
but I’m craziest when I’m with you.
Something in me breaks open,
wild and beautiful,
like lightning that refuses to strike the same place twice
but always finds you.

My pulse forgets its rhythm.
The world goes blurry,
the rules stop mattering,
and I become everything I swore I’d never be—
reckless, loud,
alive.

You pull the storm out of me.
The kind that ruins and revives in the same touch.
I laugh until I ache,
I love until it hurts,
I want until wanting becomes a wound I don’t want to heal.

There’s fire in my veins when you look at me.
The sane parts of me scatter like birds—
and what’s left
is raw, trembling,
real.

I’m crazy, I know.
But tell me—
what’s sanity worth
if it means losing
the only thing
that makes my soul remember
how to burn?
