I'M Captured

Her look, demure, has caught my eyes
Enslaved by style, beauty supreme
No, I am not the least surprised
That she has cast love’s giant beam
Where she would always be my dream
For her bright smile, it lights my days
Her beauty lives and makes me scream
She enchants me, oh, in many ways

With her, no age where beauty lies
Transparent heart she has, it seems
As time stands still, it never flies
For she made real, all of my dreams
Rightly, I hold her in high esteem
Her face reveals beauty’s display
My loving plot, my greatest scheme
To hold her long, for all the days

Her beauty calls me, I can’t deny
It makes my heart so hot, it steams
And from my depths, releases cries
Reactions normal, though so extreme
For the earth’s beauty, from her, does stream
And through all time, to not decay
She holds my heart and all my dreams
I’d have it just no other way

When the rains of night so do team
To rays of sunshine, upon the day
Her beauty holds and reigns supreme
For upon my heart her beauty weighs

This is beautiful. I love your use of, almost, dreamy imagery with reality, too. Oh, it's a beautiful piece. Well done. And thank you for the comment. :) Take care. Josey Leigh
