I'M Alive

Every day of the week
a battle is going on with me
There are no guns,
or ruins to see

There is just me,
With a smile on my face
There is just me
I am not in place

I'm alive, and my foe
is the cursed death
He fights to rule over
my very last breath

Life is a struggle, a battle
and so much more
I am alive, but even
that can be a chore

I am a warrior
My armor is my voice
And when I die,
It will be my choice
