I'M a Little Man
God guide my wandering soul
And light my perilous paths,
For I'm just a little man.
Cloth my soft nudity
And protect my head from folly,
For I'm a little man.
Smite my adversaries
And win my battles,
For I'm a little man.
Feed my belly
And slate my thirst,
For I'm a little man.
Forbid that I should die young
In fear of sudden wealth
Or the coming of immodest fame,
For I'm a little man.
I'm a little man,
Lord forgive my folly
And pardon my blasphemies,
Because I'm a little man.
