Illusions Or Reality
CONCRETE AND STEEL ?
Incased between thick walls
Forged in concrete and steel
Experiencing in mind
Illusions deadly real.
Images waft behind
Her invincible walls
No heros remaining
To help avert her falls?
Spirit unable to fly
Encumbranced can not soar
From behind nor between
Barriers and locked tight door.
Deeply felt her emotions
Suffering, torment, despair
Friends real or imagined
Why there…and then not there?
Hasn’t noticed the tears
Nor their trial down her cheeks
Pleading God’s assistance
From her nightmares…nightly seeks!
