Listen to poem:

Illusions of Delusion

horizons blurred in a foreign haze
the fiber of life disintegrated
hope frazzled and denied
trust fragile in the wind

set adrift on a sea of delusion
the nightmare losing sight of morning
spun mixed emotions of solidarity
elusive death caught in a vortex

Big emotion shows! We are all caught in a storm. I’m standing in the eye. “Remain calm,” I tell myself.

Absolutely, Kim. We all feel bewildered to a certain degree.
