I'Ll Fly Away
One of these days I'd like to fly away
not sure if to come back one day.
I would look back and remember all the memories
of this life,
choosing and picking the good from the bad
the intimacy from the coldness, the love from the hate,
the lust from un wanting.
I would fly away from here, never wanting to come back
I'll fly away from all the let down reciprocity,
to land in another place where there's sounds of laughter
and silence.
Where everyone keeps their promises and love runs freely
and judgement does not.
Everyone would matter, no one could say they forgot.
A place where the sun would always rise,
a place where my mother would never cry.
I'll fly away to this magical land
in a hurry as my dream fades like quick sand.
I'll fly away, take a second look, for the last time.
I'll fly away into a field of dreams,
I'll fly away in the sky of hope,
I'll fly away into loves' arms
I'll fly away to endless possibilities
I'll fly away from here.
