Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

I'll Carry On

i’ll pretend i don’t care
i don’t know how i’ll manage
but somehow i will
i always do

i’ll somehow be on my way
and put all this behind
the betrayal
the disappointment

it’s not what you did
it’s what you didn’t do

the deafening silence in the night
the tsunami rolling in
damage untold until
the tides finally recede

Line, so simple, so profound. I don't know how you do it- but you do it so well. Stay safe and well, friend.
