I'Ll Be Back

Whenever I go to a different place, somewhere far from here I know that I will always return to the place that I do not fear I’ve lived in Sheffield since I was born; I know where my heart lies I may go away, but not for long, because here I have family ties Travel may broaden my mind and lessons I can learn But I long for home if I stay away and can’t wait to return I travel abroad and locally too, but my roots are firmly set Sheffielder’s are fabulous people, the best I’ve ever met I am glad that I live in the area I do, the town and countryside The greenery is so wonderful, as I stare at it with pride I drive around and notice things, especially when I’m alone One thing I am certain of, there is ‘no place like home’
