Why does the psychotic monster fantasize about taking what belongs to others? Those of us who understand happiness and mental health get that we'd rather relate, interact, and assist others.

To satisfy itches he’d scratch Panama’s channel is his catch And like she’s a gal He’ll grab this canal Since Trumpenstein wants a wet snatch

We see this everywhere around the word dear duke! Those political leaders that thirst for power and to take control! Your sense of humor here depicts that so well and i love the rhymes and flow of this excellent limerick! And what an artwork too! Loved that! So good to read you after a long time! Sending you light always

IE, thanks!! I'll check out some of your latest. Your comment also has some humor...as you cite the "flow." LOL. Seems like the job of a leader should be to help people through the careful exercise of power, but that will not be the case now. Smiles, of course!!

Dear Duke, You wrote an exceptional poem to satirize political aspirations and wants, with a focus on former President Donald Trump and his interests in infrastructure projects, notably the Panama Canal. The use of fun and provocative language implies a criticism of how political leaders frequently achieve their objectives. The theme also includes political ambition, infrastructure, and a symbolic picture of the Panama Canal as a prized possession akin to a love conquest. The poem uses casual and colloquial language, notably expressions like "wet snatch" and "grab this canal," to evoke a feeling of crudeness and hilarity. The use of phrases like "scratch" and "catch" generates a lighthearted tone while concealing a more serious indictment of political agendas.

Thanks SP. I'm being a bit crass, but the level of psychosis in DT strikes me with every clip or quote I see, and I can't think of another simple way to put that across. You're very kind, and your comment is very much appreciated. You could be a reviewer for the New York Times or New York Magazine very easily....they would be lucky to have you!

Hi Anne-Lise...I like your take on what causes his itching. It could be! He really is a lost soul unfortunately and there's no help available for him that he can accept. Hope you are having a great day.

Maureen, seems like laughter is our only alternative at the moment. However, this will get very serious in a couple of weeks. Hard to know how this will play out really. I have to ask people how they would feel if someone came to the table with no invitation and just started taking food off of other people's plates. I'm wondering why people don't seem really bothered by any of this since it relates to violation of basic behavioral norms.
