Ignore Him

Toss and turn, turn and toss Those elephants in their beds designed for a 'hoss' I love him; I love him not He loves us; he loves us not Thus do they while the night away... What they wouldn't give to be able to sleep Yet no matter how social media restricts him He'll still find a way to say Bleep If those elephants would only look past their nose They might take a lesson from the donkeys, their foes -- Who let their failed Presidential Candidate Simply twist in the wind Until, inevitably She did herself in

Hello Gershon ... all political parties have their agenda and any fresh faces better soon realize they must toe the line. Politics and politicians has lost the peoples belief in good - thanks Gershon - Lindsay

It definitely shows what the people like...what is frightening is they say, the voice of the people is the voice of God...I hope they are wrong.

I always wondered when I heard it said...I guess they are saying that the collective hearts of men speak for God on Earth...but not revealing these hearts can be manipulated too for the benefit of the few. You can read so many things from a simple line...So powerful are words.

I'm not sure who says that the voice of the people is the voice of God, but that makes no sense to me. The Sages tell us that God disguised his voice as Moses' father when he first appeared to him (Moses) as the burning bush -- so that Moses would not be intimidated by God's actual voice. But I can't conceive how we could possible be/have God's voice. Absurd. Just sayin'

this is too political for me. I despise what has happened to both parties and don't even bother listening to the lie filled news and its covid numbers propaganda. Uggg, what a stupid world this is.

You will always get candor with me. That's how I lost a few friends on FB last year.

Frankly, politics is not for me either!... I just enjoy either poking fun at both/all sides, or looking at it dispassionately, as in this one. Thanks for the candor, and have a Happy Wednesday evening, Andrea. :) gw

Actually, Hilary Clinton did get more of the popular vote than Trump did in 2016, so if the will of the people really mattered, she should have been President - but I do think what they are trying to do to Liz Cheney for simply stating the truth is just reprehensible~

Poor Liz, eh? She fell into Trump's trap. If she had just ignored him, this wouldn't have happened. Without a fight, Trump dies on the vine, and walks away to finds somebody else to bother. ~ Winnie-the-Pooh

Yes, the Creep can still bleep! Our news reported 70% of registered Republicans believe Biden did not earn enough votes to be elected President! Saying it isn't so gets Cheney the boot! Aloha! Rico

Ignoring him, I think, is the best remedy... Without a fight on his hands, he loses interest... As for Cheney, she took his bait, and now she's paying the price... Politics is no place for idealists; that's for sure. It's a rough arena! :) gw
