Ignore Him

Toss and turn, turn and toss
  Those elephants in their beds
    designed for a 'hoss'

   I love him; I love him not
   He loves us; he loves us not
   Thus do they while the night away...

What they wouldn't give to be able to sleep
Yet no matter how social media restricts him
    He'll still find a way to say Bleep

If those elephants would only look past their nose
They might take a lesson from the donkeys, their foes --
  Who let their failed Presidential Candidate
    Simply twist in the wind
    Until, inevitably
    She did herself in

You can read so many things from a simple line...So powerful are words. Gershon Wolf May 7, 2021 at 11:17 AM I'm not sure who says that the voice of the people is the voice of God, but that makes no sense to me. The Sages tell us that God disguised his voice as Moses' father when he first appeared to him (Moses) as the burning bush -- so that Moses would not be intimidated by God's actual voice. But I can't conceive how we could possible be/have God's voice. Absurd. Just sayin'
