If You Ever Hear

If you ever hear
Words that push you further
Rather than draw you near
To the Love of the Father
Robbing you of your cheer
And forcing your hope out of its lather
Taking you to discouragement and fear
And everywhere that the negatives gather
One option is clear
That you should rather
Let it in through one ear
And out through the other

oh this is so true...sometimes we attune our ears and other times only act as if they are...good to let the negativity go out... good advice, nice write! :)

I have been there before, and this is a great piece of advice! Unfortunately, there are many people who will say negative things about us. Yet, we must not let it bother us, because words are just words. They can never define us! An amazing poem, Kennedy! Great work!...Thank you very much for the kind comments on my poem!
