If This Seems Stupid, It Really Is
There’s a shooter in the hall
But no one cares
You have our prayers
Best thoughts to you all.
It looks like he’s entered a classroom
You’ll all be fine
Those kids aren’t mine
We’re not the ones facing doom.
Someone said he’s shooting now
I just can’t feel
Doesn’t seem real
Still my head is bowed.
Thoughts and prayers are sent again
Some kids died
And others lied
After all, they’re kids, not men.
