If She Loved Me Once More
The morning takes the slumber from my eyes,
As I look out toward the east to see the sunrise.
Memories takes me back to another time,
An autumn sky and a girl with hazel eyes.
I would’ve given her, the mountains, the moon and the sky,
Yet I foolishly left her without even a goodbye.
After all these years, I’m back again,
Hoping she will forgive and understand.
This time I will offer her the sun, the moon in the sky and more,
If she would say, she loved me once more.
